COMMUNITY MOSAIC MURALS

Over the years, Dana has spent her time perfecting her passion: breaking down the walls for creativity with people of all ages to create public art. A theme throughout all of her work is that making art can be a community activity. She has led mosaic mural projects in health clinics, schools and transformed walls in Las Vegas, San Francisco and Berkeley, California.

FLORA MI CORAZON
(2024)

Created for the Concord Mural and Music Festival, Flora mi corazón is a vibrant mosaic installation celebrating the heart of community and the beauty of nature. Installed in Plaza de Todos Santos in Concord, CA, the piece was part of a citywide collaboration featuring 12 muralists and one mosaic artist. With rich textures and radiant color, the work brings a lasting, joyful presence to this public gathering space.

FLORA (2023)

"Flora" was created on site with the help of children, teachers, parents, and the broader community—through stormy weather, sunshine, and moments of shared joy. Created in 2023 at Mission Kids Co-op, located at 969 Treat Street in San Francisco’s Mission District.
